George Washington's Well... reflections Egypt to America

I was visiting dear friends at their summer home in Madison New Jersey this past Saturday.
The house and environs were historic and beautifully preserved dating back to the 1740s...
and on the beautiful property on that beautiful sunny day stood an old Well which had used by George Washington and his men during the Revolutionary War campaigns...
As I was being told of its history by my gracious hostess at a pause I remembered with her with a curious smile His admonishment to those who wished him to take over the Government in a manner that History had always accustomed us up to that fateful moment!
His Response:
"I shall not be king!"
... for US ending the dynastic flaws of most Monarchies, Emperors, Dictators and Pharoahs for as well He knew forshadowed and for shortened "that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely"...
maybe great ideas embodied in one or a few but no substitution for democratic and sustainable governance of any many Diverse and truly Free peoples.
... for us insuring that every president and representative would  be severely limited in power and duration of service by its equal sharing by three independent but equal arms of government.
... for us begetting a true separation of church and state that interfaith and the commerce of ideas and means could flourish without undo influence of one over an other.
...for us... anyway among many other thoughts
I  thought of our long collective journeys from Egypt to America
... and reflected on the dear peoples of Egypt in there striving for peaceful governance today near  George Washington's Well... and I wished and wish all People of new Egypt wellness and expressions of Common Sense in the weeks to come.
