Breathe In and Breathe Out

I was escorted from the down the elevators by two very kind young Staffers from the Hospital.
Wishing me well they carried with them two Mixed-Media Drawings that I donated to the Lennox Hill ICU Wing.

One Long Corridor from the Elevators separated me from the First Light and Air Outside.
It seemed quite a long Pathway, a Birth Canal at an Airport Terminal.
In any case this had all the excitement of going on a very Special Trip Abroad.
I broke the Passage way into two smaller pieces and set about towards the Exits.

I Was Out and Alive and
Let the Sunshine In.

Oh What a Beautiful Morning...
Oh What a Beautiful Day!

First Sights of New York coming Out.
Trying to Orient Myself.
First Walk and Catching the Sights.
I Drank  in the City with an Exotic Thirst ...

Looking to my Left was the Westside and Park Ave. and  To my Right the Eastside and Lex. Ave

On the Lexington side in the direction I was headed on the far Corner was the large Eastside Church under Renovation.

North South Manhattan Corridor along Lexington.

I was Headed North and East.

The Beautiful Temple Shaaray Tefila on 79th and Second Ave.

I took the Bus on Second Avenue instead of a Taxi and headed Home.
