A great student and master of the Critique

He forged contoversy from common sense

of Enlightenment

In Modern Verse

In the thick of Controversy

With Wit

in Uncommon ways that to some seemed Heresy

Others Mockery

But no one found him Trite or Banal

He stood and dared the gods to greet him on his own Terms

Of Logic which he had faith if in nothing else

Uncommon Valour,

And the Passionate Pursuit of

Happiness

We became friends from this distance.

 In War and Peace.

I trust he has found his piece of the Greater Mind.
